Our owner is Mike Maharas, a Master Electrician and a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installer. Mike leads our team with more than 23 years of electrical experience. Mike is hands-on in every project so everything is done right when you work with us.
We know that going solar is a big decision and comes with many questions and concerns. That is why our team is committed to making the process as simple and streamlined as possible. Go Green Electric will be with you every step of the way, from the first home visit, to the installation, to any service issues that may arise years down the line. “Mike and the team and Go Green Electric really knocked it out of the park. Not only were they competitively priced, but made the entire process incredibly easy. Ordering lunch at Which Which is probably the same amount of paperwork. The install was clean and the panels follow the roofline in way that looks like they were meant to be there. We went with a 6kW system that covers 100% of our electric use and its been performing wonderfully for the past 6 months. And in case you're wondering about that performance, the solaredge inverter has an app that lets you monitor your production in real-time, down to the individual panel. "Simply a great experience I want to take a moment to tell anyone who will listen that Mike and the whole company at Go Green really saved my bacon. No only that, they did a terrific job. I recently sold my home, and as part of the deal I had to replace the roof. I have solar panels on the roof and they are leased from a company in California, this has caused some major issues in terms of getting the roof replaced. The solar company was not meeting my timeline in terms of getting the solar panels removed by a contractor, so I took it upon myself to find a contractor to de-install and re-install the solar panels while the roof was replaced. This is where Go Green and Mike Maharas came into the picture. I called Mike on Thursday and he was able to get out there on the following Monday, he and his crew did a fantastic job of getting the solar panels removed, with no damage to them, then replaced. Go green inspected the solar panels and made certain they were operating properly, they were 100% professional on time, did everything they said they would do, I did not have to chase anyone down, I did not have to spend any time doing the things I expected to have etc do, like hounding them to get them back out to re-install the panels. They showed up on the following Friday to re-install the panels, there were no "surprise" charges, they did the job for the exact amount we agreed upon. These guys were absolutely a joy to work with..... I cannot recommend any company more strongly than Go Green. I expected this to be a nightmare, and Mike and the company made it a dream. I would recommend these guys for any work they bid. I never write positive reviews, I rarely write reviews at all, but I felt compelled to say something about this company. IT is a real joy to do business with a company like this..... I know they will be in business, they are ethical, professional, and great to deal with.
